COBRE Program Administrators

COPA is comprised of COBRE Program Administrators that meet virtually every month. These members share experiences, challenges and best practices across different COBRE programs.

The Centers of Biomedical Research Excellence (COBRE) support the establishment and development of innovative, state-of-the-art biomedical and behavioral research centers at institutions in IDeA-eligible states (blue on the map) through awards for three sequential five-year phases.

The Institutional Development Award (IDeA) program supports research funding, equipment and services for high-level research, and career development for scientists, which can also lead to improved health for underserved communities.
